A FRESH bid to legalise voluntary euthanasia in South Australia has a "very good chance" of passing through the Upper House, an assessment of the numbers reveals.
Greens MLC Mark Parnell will introduce his voluntary euthanasia private member's Bill to Parliament on Wednesday.
Mr Parnell's previous bid to legalise euthanasia, in November last year, was lost in a tight conscience vote, 11 to 9.
He said the new make-up of the Upper House would be more favourable.
