Professor Marc Waelkens from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Belgium has directed excavations at the ancient site of Sagalassos in southern Anatolia in Turkey every summer for the past 21 years. This year, his team discovered the oldest Roman baths in Asia Minor known to date.
