SEXOLOGIST Bettina Arndt says thousands of Australian men with erectile dysfunction are condemned to sexual impotence or reliance on costly and often dodgy treatments - an inequitable position in contrast to the publicly funded breast prostheses for women cancer patients.

Arndt says about 20,000 new cases of Australian men with prostate cancer each year were among tens of thousands of others with diabetes and other conditions whose lives and marriages were jaundiced by inability to have an erection.

I do feel for these men, my guy has the same problem but won't seek treatment, so I understand the frustration. But compare the need of impotency with breast cancer (which actually causes death) is ridiculous......You may wish you were dead if your impotent, but breast cancer can and will kill you.....
